Barbecue [8th July 2011] - as a result of the the inclement weather, the ever popular annual school barbecue had to be staged in the school hall. Quote from Damian Groak (Head Teacher) "Thanks to everyone. Apart from the money, which directly impacts on the learning of all of our children, the work of FOSB brings people together to achieve something amazing in our community. What a delight to work for and with you." Summer Fayre [12th July 2011] A big thank you goes to all those who supported this event in any way and made it such a huge success. An amazing total of around £7800 was raised. This will cover the costs of fitting new blinds in every classroom (thus enhancing the learning environment by ensuring that the interactive whiteboards are more visible to children) and the purchase of equipment for the Foundation Stage outdoor area (thus increasing learning opportunities for children). Aaron Davidson won the £55.50 Golden Bucket prize.
